maybe the biggest selling western game in history
oh no! what are 360 gamers gonna play now?!?!
Lost Planet should be included as well.
guess he's not playing the csi game...
lol no one goes to metacritic to look at the user scores.
This game is redefining "play-value." It's easily one of the greatest multiplayer games to be released. Why would one get angry about this price, when another large multiplayer game, World of Warcraft charges a monthly fee for its play.
I think Infinity Ward has realized this and puts the single player in the back seat.
Its multiplayer is something that I've gladly spent a one time fee for. It's a game that has play value that far exceeds its price. ...
At first, I wasn't a fan (since I've been on a modern warfare fix which has completely different pacing), but after several play-throughs, I found myself drawn to the game being different every playthrough. This made it addicting. ...hearing the crying witch kinda makes you question how much of a man you are...
I'll probably eventually pick it up when I get sick of being destroyed in Modern Warfare 2...
This guy is just a big failure:
"Investigators cross-referenced the user's e-mail address with a Facebook account which had his cell phone number listed, and determined his identity to be 18-year-old Christian Del Amo."
Who puts their cell phone number on facebook!?
We should keep him and interrogate him. Then maybe he can tell us the location of the secret pirate lair!
They should take a picture of screen tearing. ;)
at -------> ProA007 YOU DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM
They're so dissimilar. Halo is rich with bright colors, while KZ has a more apocalyptic atmosphere. I'd love to see the new engine in action. Really, that's the best and only way to make a valid comparison.
I have a strange feeling that my preorder won't be there when I get there...
btw, how late is gamestop open for a midnight release?
That kitty is so cute!!!
Tom Morello.
That's what I, and what most people have... so i dunno... $200 for an 8GB RAM upgrade and a $300 for a NVIDIA 8000 series video card...
I guess that's about right... it'd be neat if i knew how to develop lol
@ Double Toasted - You make a good point. It's just a medium for creating and the result could vary from dev to dev.
I know it's a great business move by Epic. And of course I know Crysis is owned by another company.
I'm just thinking that from moves like this, sprouts monopolies, which can be abusive to the competitive market. If something like this did happen, eventually, I assume it would have to be regulated in order for other companies to have some kind of ...
I haven't seen and dev machines. I'm sure they're up to par. But it puts a damper on normal joes who just want to download it and see what it's all about...
haha, I guess I'm the only one...
I'm glad for the indie devs, but I think their reasoning behind making it free is to increase the popularity of the next unreal engine, of which they'll already be familiar with.
Indie devs are the devs of the future and if all they know is the Unreal Engine, how can we expect other engines to compete?
Not to mention the fact that the Unreal Engine was arguably overused this generation. Aren't we furthering that by making it free?
How bout make the Crys...
Ouch, really? I was up all night playing MW2 on Live...
...now my day is messed up, though...
